Story: Ajay/Mano comes to India and lives in Hyderabad, his bubbly look and ever joyfulness nature attracts Vidya ( Nitya Menon) who is a photo journalist. One fine day Vidya proposes him, Mano is already married to an NRI in San Francisco and there is a shocking Secret in his life which is revealed. What’s the secret and whom does Mano marry forms the climax?

Performances: Siddharth is fantastic, he performed well. Nitya Menon suited to the girl next door role. Priya Anand too impresses in her role. Mouli, Tanikella Bharani, Geetha did their job well. SriCharan as Siddhu’s friend is good. Cinematography is top rated. Art work and Editing are good. Story and Screenplay are bit predictable. Narration is very slow. Direction is good.

Analysis: ‘180’ is a bilingual film simultaneously Shot and released in Tamil (Nootrenbhadu) and Telugu. Popular AD film maker Jayendra turned director with this flick. He has done fine job as far as Direction is concerned. The Script work is fine. The Scenes are fresh (you find mostly new Scenes); the story or the content may be an old one. The dialogues are pretty natural. The narration could have been better. The movie progresses at snail pace.

Siddharth has come up with another experimental movie, he already proved himself as a versatile actor but this movie takes him to another level. The role is a tough one but Siddharth handled it very well. He performed with ease. The emotional scenes have come out really well. Nitya Menon is okay and performed well in the role of Journalist. She appeared little flabby(She should serious think of that).Priya Anand is cute and steals the show with controlled performance. It’s good to see Mouli after a long time and he impresses well with his mark comedy dialogue punches. SriCharan is good as Siddhu’s friend. The remaining supporting cast is okay.

The Visuals are eye catching. Cinematographer literally takes the audience around the foreign locales through the focus of his lens. Art work is good. Editing is okay but could have taken more care to give a slick look. The Music is by Malayalam composer Sharreth who composed music for ‘Kalavaramaye Madhilo’, he has done fine job. The music is already a hit among Youth. The background Score needs a special mention. The song “Yee Vayasika Raadu” was shot well.

The First half is good, even though it’s slow, but the last half an hour is filled with emotional content and performances which makes the narration very slow. The movie is targeted at youth and Class Audience. We have to wait and see how the youth react. If you are good Cinema lover and slow narration never bothers you then you can take a chance for this well crafted experimental film.

Plus: Performances (Siddhu), Cinematography, Music (BGM)
Minus: Slow Narration

Verdict: Watchable – conditions apply! (Not for Commercial/ Regular Movie Lovers).
